That's right, the government of Portugal has signed an agreement with Intel, which proporicionara 500 000 "notebooks (laptops pa who did not understand [scat]), called Classmate. computers manufactured by Intel few with an Intel Celeron M processor, 512 RAM, and the operating system either Windows XP or Linux.

This computer will be given to students at the modest sum of 50 Euros, something like 78 dollars.

I can imagine that serve the "classmate" ... would use it for anything but take notes.
