First of all, I really like doing this. Really I like blogging, not having time, or just plain nothing interesting to say, is another thing. I want to return it, and republish your entries, since I have is a bit old.
Well, as many already know, the political situation in my country, Mexico, has deteriorated more than it already was because of the recently issued presidential decree that extinguishes Luz y Fuerza del Centro. For those who do not know, LyFC is (or technically was) a parastatal company providing electric service to several states in the Midwest.
Now here's what I think. Quite simply, I support and I am glad that he finally is given this big step. Clarifying, if I'm in favor of electricity is provided by the state, but always wondered why I had to keep two different parastatals, which provided the same service.
LyFC To start and the other semi, was controlled almost entirely by the union, under the pretext of "ensuring the rights of workers" simple and simply paid the amounts they wanted, hired and those who wanted to what you want. Honestly, I did not know that the state ought to give 21 billion dollars to continue operating. This is madness!
Taking the CFE, a company, as they say, world class, which, according to figures released by the president has much better production and profitability (this is seen in its financial statements show a profit even negligible) than LyFC it is logical that giving end. Unfortunately previous unions and governments do not care.
on marches and demonstrations, I have only to say that their opportunity and they were given. Now I do not want to return to work in a company full of debts and useless. They are guilty of taking the company to ruin, and they must pay the consequences. Just think, it is illogical that a monopolistic firm in an industry that provides a good with a suit almost inelasctica and basic for survival, you may have missed.
Anyway, hopefully the country's political situation returns to its normal, and of course there are honest and productive workers LyFC them are the ones that should rehire course, now the CFE will need more resources and human capital.
Finally, the only thing I see wrong here is that this decicion occurs in a time of crisis in which at least is looking for more jobs being lost. But fortunately or unfortunately, the decision is taken.
